Bitdreamers, a small IT company founded back in 2008 that comes up with customized software applications, offers the TimeComX Pro automation solution to all the users out there who want to be more efficient. It helps them do this by automatically performing certain tasks so they don’t have to do them manually. The application can automatically run a program, end a process, wake up, hibernate, restart, or shut down a computer. It can perform these automated tasks based on the triggers you specify: a specific time or when RAM usage exceeds a threshold, for example.

You can install TimeComX Pro on your Windows-powered machine in one of two supported languages: English and German. Support for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions is provided. Get the 3.6MB setup wizard for Windows x86, run it, click through a simple setup wizard, and moments later TimeComX Pro will be up and running.

TimeComX Pro’s interface is divided into two panes. The one to the left displays all the jobs you created; since you did not create any, when you first launch the application, it is blank. The pane to the right is the Server Control; you can hide it by clicking the Server Control icon in the upper left hand corner. There’s another icon in that corner, one that lets you access the application’s settings menu.

There are two main things you must choose when creating a new job with the TimeComX Pro application: a trigger and a task. There are several triggers to choose from: countdown timer, scheduled time, CPU usage, hard disk usage, memory usage, network usage, process state. There are several tasks to choose from as well: run a program, end process, restart, shut down, hibernate, standby, and wake computer. You can pick several triggers and tasks when creating a new job; once you’re done, the job will be listed on the interface, in the pane to the right. Create more jobs and they will be added to the list.

TimeComX Pro is the paid version which is free to use for a 14-day trial. There’s a TimeComX Basic version that is free. The difference is that it does not work even when nobody is logged in, does not provide Remote Process Control (RPC) support, and you don’t get technical support.

With TimeComX Pro’s help, you can save time by automating tasks. This handy automation tool will run programs for you, shut down your PC, and more.

Pros

TimeComX Pro provides support for English and German. There’s a version for 32 and a version for 64-bit Windows editions. Use the application to create jobs and perform tasks automatically based on the triggers you pick. Provides support for Remote Process Control.

Cons

Free to use for a 14-day trial period (try the Basic edition if you don’t want to part with your money).
